Grace hired me off Bark.com to shoot her little condo in Denver. It was nicely remodeled and had brand new furniture. The bathroom was kinda small but with some decor we made it look pretty darn good in my opinion. We took a door off the hinges just to get the perfect shot.
Martin hired me to shoot his corporate headshots. Apparently it had been 6 [years since he last had them done. We agreed that current headshots were a necessity in todays world where social media is king. With all the backdrops I have and my studio lights I was able to capture some sweet stuff for Martin inside and then we hit up a couple local spots to capture some outdoor headshots.
By far my favorite race that I shoot as of yet. Mt. Evans Ascent is wild. Lots of the race takes place above 10,000 ft on a barren wind swept mountain. This year the wind was 30+ mph and people were gettin’ rocked! I was lucky enough to have my raincoat and some other clothes to stuff underneath it. Thanks again Racing Underground for the continued patronage!
Britney and Matthew hired me through a 3rd party site to shoot their wedding in Castle Rock. Their venue of choice, Cielo at Castle Pines, was incredible. I would recommend it to any future Bride’s. Especially if they have a larger reception of 100+ people attending. It has all the bells and whistles. Shooting the wedding was awesome as well. I met a second photographer who really liked my work. We will be working together in the future I am sure of it. Also I connected with the DJ who is also a great guy.
Had fun out shooting for Sundance Images again today. I love working for Hunter Mooneyham- this guy is the best and the races are fun to be at. I brought my cowbell, cold drinks, music and my outgoing personality to lite up Elephant Rock! The participants loved me and Hunter actually tipped me for doing so well shooting as well as engaging the participants. Thanks Hunter!
Benjamin found me on Bark.com and hired me to take Corporate Headshots and a couple group photos up at their Longmont, CO office. I thought the group of Financial Advisors were going to be dull and boring… absolutely not. This group of individuals may have been the most lively and fun bunch of young professionals I have had the pleasure of working with. I sincerely hope they hire me again!
John and Elanor Eloped in South Africa in 2018 and were in need of some awesome Reception pictures. Their good friend of the family Elaine Collins who has worked with my sister in the past contacted me out of the blue and I was hired! They had their fun little reception at The Studio in Boulder, CO. They were really into playing Bingo…
Luke is an awesome husband-to-be! He contacted me to capture the moment he popped the question to his long term gfriend of over 7 years Alissa- who had no clue. We met up near NCAR in Boulder, CO to capture her reaction and Luke had not managed to get her into a decent outfit! She was wearing sweats head-to-toe! I tried my absolute best to make the shots look incredible despite the outfit choices and they really appreciated the images I delivered. Next time I am in Texas I am going to be looking Luke up. We got along really well and he left me an amazing review!
Darine Chely contacted me through Bark.com and commissioned me to shoot her son Merrick’s Graduation Portraits and some Family Portraits at CU Boulder’s campus. The session was wily since it was snowing and inside of the building was packed full of graduates but I pulled everyone outside for a couple group shots and also took lots of pictures of Merrick inside and outside the building. It went well and I am glad to be done editing all the snow out of the outdoors pictures!
I shot a small house in Loveland for a local real-estate agent. Unfurnished and really nice updates for this particular property which made it nice and easy to shoot. A lot of times I have to really move around furniture and arrange things to be symmetrical but not when there is an absence of furniture!
This run and bike event for Racing Underground was way more fun than I had remembered it being. The weather was actually really nice and I met a young 13 year old girl who is really interested in photography and after talking to her parents we have decided that it would be a great idea for her to assist me. I am really stoked about all the connections I make at these races and am really looking forward to shooting more of them. Here is more info on the Barking Dog Duathlon.
David Zimmerman found me on Bark.com. I bid to talk to him and once we connected we hit it off like ol’chums. He is an avid outdoorsman and has been renovating his Nederland cabin-style-home for rental on AirBnB. His driveway was totally undone so I tried to minimize it for him and really feature the views of the reservoir. The interior was a real mix of updated and classic and the lighting inside the cabin was quite a challenge but David was really happy with the results. I wish he was on Facebook so I could get a review!
A return customer Jennifer Lieb, who hired me last year to shoot her son’s highschool graduation photos emailed me and asked me to shoot her daughter Audrey Lieb’s College Graduation photos. They were so fun to work with! We went down to the South Mesa Trailhead, Homestead trail, to shoot after a quick session on CU Boulder’s campus. She brought this really pretty dress and the rest is history. Thanks Jen for the continued support!
My brother asked me to shoot his awesome condo in River Clay Condominiums, Denver, CO today. It has wood floors, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and fixtures and is located on the 6th floor of an all - green condo building. Of course he didn’t have it ready to shoot so I went on hand-and-knee to spruce up the place and make it look as good as it can. Since he moved back to Ohio recently this is just a rental for him. It’s an awesome condo though and I was honored to be asked to shoot it for him! Thanks Josh!
Another fun filled race shoot for Racing Underground. The Yeti chase can be a very cold and snowy event but this year, which I believe is my fourth year shooting it, was warm and fantastic. Everyone was in such high spirits and it really speaks to the perfect weather in the Denver area. At this particular race which takes place at Bear Creek State Park, you get a bunch of prizes and you also get to catch a real live Yeti!
Thanks Jill and Darrin Eisman for your patronage!
An awesome Client Sara found me on Yelp.com and asked me to shoot her rental property in Denver, CO. It was a tiny basement apartment but it had been totally redone in a nice contemporary style. It was really a challenge to show the whole place wall to wall but with my trusty wide angle lens and my Nikon D610 I feel like I made the place look amazing! She was super stoked about the final images and I am certainly looking forward to working for her again in the near future! Thanks Sara!
Out shooting early this morning for Racing Underground. It wasn’t cold at all and the families were so happy to be out and running for another fun event! I have decided to start including a trail map for those who may be interested in finding out what these events entail. Thanks again to Racing Underground and the city of Superior, CO.
I really enjoy shooting races in the winter! Everyone else is cold and beat up and I get paid to be warm and creative… whohahahaha! No seriously though I love shooting races for Racing Underground. The Chilly Cheeks Triathlon is a fun filled family event that caters to traditional ideals for what a wholesome Sunday morning should be like. If you haven’t heard of these races or are interested in more info and pricing check out their website here or find them on Facebook here.
Thanks again Darrin and Jill Eisman for the continued patronage!
